Yes. We make our hot tubs from stainless steel and beautiful Cedar wood to assist with the hygiene of our hot tubs.
Using stainless steel provides a surface which is easy to wipe down and clean, and we use our knowledge manufacturing to meet food grade standards to manufacture our tubs.
Cedar wood is naturally resistant to moisture decay and insect damage making it ideal for hot tubs. with our wood-fired and gas models we recommend you empty the tub after each use, which helps ensure it stays clean. Wood also contains natural antiseptics which inhibits algae and bacteria from growing. We do recommend you stain and seal your wood tub every few years to protect it.
Finally, hot tubs have very little plumbing, which keeps cleaning your tub simple and provides less opportunities for biofilm such as bacteria, fungi or scum to grow.
